I would at least have expected the red battery light to be glowing, but no. Nothing apparent on the dash, no warning lights or anything. However there are two codes popping up that refuse to go away, see below. I cleared some historical low-voltage codes from VCDS (the car had a history of flat battery) and it all seems nice and happy with its new battery. I always presumed it was the battery controller. There is a black box on the boot floor just beside the battery, but I haven't had a close look to see what it is yet.
